Membership Rules and Guidelines Highlight
- I understand that I am joining a Barter Exchange and that I will Trade my products and services with other members.
- I understand that I will trade my products and services at 100% trade value.
- All Cash fees are due by the 5th of each month, as follows below.
o 12% cash fee on all purchases with a minimum $5 fee per month. If you have a credit/debit card on file for fees, the fee is only 10% on purchases.
o $5 Trade dollar fee per month on all accounts.
o If my payment is not received by Trade Local by the 15th of the month, I will be subject to a $10 or 10% late fee which ever is greater.
- I understand that I must treat every Trade Local customer just as I would a cash customer, by providing the same pricing, customer service, and attention to detail.
- I understand that if I am, not trading fairly, price gouging, providing poor service or requiring partial cash on sales that I may incur penalties, including t$500 trade fine for a first offense and loss of membership and trade credits upon subsequent offenses.
- I acknowledge that I am a registered business either on the County or State level.
- My Sales representative has explained the rules and regulations of Trade Local to me.

Always fare trading!
- 100% Trade for all transactions, unless otherwise approved by Trade Local
- All Sales are to be at sellers prevailing cash price. Price inflation is strictly prohibited. See member agreement for penalties for price gouging or other unfair trading.
- Sellers may exclude certain items from trade transactions. i.e. in-house work only, or a particular product or service. Excluded items must be listed under members information in the directory, and be approved by Trade Local.
Cash and Trade Fees
- Members must have a credit card on file with Trade Local for cash fees.
- Cash fees will be charged to the member's credit card on the 5th day of the month for the previous months transactions.
- Trade Fees will be debited from member's account at the time of transaction.
- Account status and all transactions are available for the member to review at anytime by logging into their account at www.tradelocal.biz.
- Members must dispute any transactions or charges to their account in writing within 30 days of said charges.
- Fees are charged at a rate of 12% for purchases. 10% if member has a valid credit card on file that will be charged the last day of each month.
- Any cash fees over 10 days old will be subject to a $10 or 10% late fee, whichever is greater.
- Any cash fees over 60 days past due may result in termination of purchasing and selling privileges until fees are current.
Posting Transactions
- Selling members are responsible for posting all sales transactions by logging into their account at www.tradelocal.biz. Sellers are responsible for getting proper credentials from purchasing members.
- Seller is responsible for collecting all appropriate taxes from buyer in cash. Trade cannot be used to pay sales tax.
- Seller is responsible for collecting all appropriate gratuities in cash, unless agreed upon in advance of other options.
- Seller is responsible for collecting any shipping or other costs in cash or securing proper shipping account numbers from buyer.
- Buyers are responsible to pay in cash all taxes, gratuities and shipping costs associated with Trade purchase. Taxes are never payable in cash. Gratuities and Shipping costs are Always the responsibility of buyer and due in cash, unless otherwise in advance and in writing it is agreed upon to other arrangements.
Statements
- Trade Local does not send out paper statements.
- All statements are available on line at www.tradelocal.biz, buy member logging into their account.
- Statements may be sent out via email to members.
- Members must have a current email account on file.
Attention all members: Trade Local is required by law to have on file your correct Tax ID number or Social Security number on file in order to properly supply your 1099b form at the end of the year. Trade Local will be fined by the IRS if this information is either not supplied or is inaccurate. Please check under your Settings to insure that your social security number and or tax id number are both listed and accurate. If they are not please update. If this information is not complete and up to date, and Trade Local is fined by they IRS you will be responsible for the paying in Cash the amount of the fine or fines. Please help us comply.
